Teaching Experience 

After completing cosmetology classes at the high school level, I felt that this may be an avenue that I would like to pursue as a career. So, I ventured off to Calgary for a year where I enrolled in hair school at Delmar College. After completing my Red Seal Certification, I returned to my home town of Lethbridge and started, what I thought would be my forever career. I found I enjoyed teaching my fellow beauticians’ about new techniques and tools that I had learned at conferences and in classes. It was at this time, that I made the decision to enrol at Lethbridge College and explore the possibility of becoming a teacher. After completing courses at the college, I transferred to the University of Lethbridge where I enrolled in the five year Education program. I'm thrilled to be apart of the team at Wilson for two consecutive years!

Here's a fun fact about myself- I was able to take a University Political Science Class on The Lord Of The Rings, as part of my teaching degree!
